SKKS and TMTETS two of my favorite Korean historical drama

Hey to all who loves Korean Dramas,

I just want to share my thoughts about two dramas that made me crazy while they broadcasted. The first one was in 2010 and was named “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” and the second is this year hit drama “The Moon that embraces the Sun”. Both dramas are based on novels by Jung Eun-Gwol and perhaps that’s why I loved them, because from the beginning you know that Good will prevail. I saw others Korean historical like “Hong Gil Dong” and there were no happy ending, and although it was excellent drama it left a bit sour feeling in me and since then I try to watch only romantic comedies, that are developing in our time. So again to the main theme this two drama will make you addicted to them to such level that you will want to watch them again and again. Both have great actors and the story is unfolding in the Korean Entertainment manner, the soundtracks will take your breath away and although the second had some technical flaws the story and the characters will make you forget it and make you hate and love them, admire and want to kill them. Both dramas will make you FEEL, what in my opinion is a sign of a Job well done of both sides the Production Team and the Actors.

So if you don’t know what to watch and want to make new experience about other cultures I can only advise you to watch these two dramas. They already are on my own list of Top dramas.

SKKS – Sungkyunkwan Scandal

TMTETS – The Moon that embraces the sun

Hi ariadna..i’m here after read your comment at Soompi. You same with me,SKKS and TMTETS become my favorite drama since QSD. Maybe because the story is easy to understand, pretty costume etc.
That’s way i can’t forget how beautiful kim min seo as cho sun in her Gisaeng hanbok.
Ok..ariadna,thanks for share your thougths. You’re not alone.

  2. This was the first Korean TV show I ever watched and
it’s a great choice for teenagers and pre-teens. The actors who play her and her nemesis are hypnotizing.

You just need to bring with you your determination and enthusiasm because you are on your way to experience the Korean language like no other.
